The evolution of Stephen Dent's career

Having attended school at Harvard, Stephen Dent was destined from the very beginning to be something special. Stephen Dent's career in finance and investment began in 1982 at PricewaterhouseCoopers, but quickly began to take off. He left there after graduate school for Morgan Stanley Dean Whitter & Co.'s Mergers and Acquisitions Department. After that, Stephen joined a private investment partnership called Rozenkranz & Company, where he again excelled at acquisitions. He now owns his own investment bank, called Dent Inc., which is based out of Greenwich, Connecticut.

  2. Stephen: Sorry, cannot remember if it is Steve or Stephen. In any case, I randomly searched your name on the internet tonight (better than listening to my wife and teenage daughter argue :))
because I always considered you to be the best businessmen I have met in my career. You may remember me from the early days when you started your firm in NYC. I worked for M&T Bank, and we helped you finance some of your early acquisitions - one was an OEM supplier for auto parts to GM, and we were working on Evenrude (boat engines?) when I left in late 1988. In fact, I think I still have the notebook binder which you created to do the auto parts manufacturer deal. Anyway, I left M&T, kind of, because my brother and I started medical laboratory and home care businesses which were financed by M&T, and that is what I do to this day (WILLCARE). We actually have operations in CT under the name Patients Choice Home Care - mostly we operate in New Haven, Wethersfield, and Waterbury. Anyway, just thought I would drop a line to someone who was an inspiration. Never would have happened if it were not for the internet.
